While Inland Group continues to outperform itself in the business arena, it’s earnestly active on the social front too. Several charitable institutions like hospitals, schools, temples, and cattle sheds are run by Inland across the country. Moreover, the group participates and organises relief work camps in conjunction with Bharat Relief Society, Kolkata. In order to raise awareness about road safety in India, Inland conducts Road Safety Programs which have been commended by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
Partnering with Government of Rajasthan and Government of India, the group has developed a state-of-the-art Trauma Centre in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Named after the founder, the Chunnilal Somani Government Trauma Centre is spread over 60,000 sq. ft and is equipped with the modern machines & equipment to cater to the healthcare needs of more than 1 crore people.
The spirit of social well-being flows in the entire family of the founder. The founder of Inland group has been very actively involved with All India Maheshwari Samaj. Looking at the determination and dedication of the family, the founder has been elected as the President of All India Maheshwari Samaj, a community of 15 Lac people, which includes major business houses of India.
In recognition of the spirit of social service, Government of India awarded the prestigious Dadabhai Naroaji International Award to Inland group founder Sh. CL Somani. Besides, State Government of Uttar Pradesh also conferred the prestigious UP Ratna
